Terry and his wife Rita own Terry Knutsen Builder, Inc. Terry is the fourth generation of builders to emerge in his family and has been in the construction business practically all his life. Before Terry started his own company, he worked for his dad as a subcontractor on all types of jobs including roofing, framing and siding. And as with family tradition, the fifth generation is also very involved in the company. The sense of family carries over to all of Knutsen Builder, Inc.’s customers.

HomeownersWhen we first met with Terry and Rita, we had two goals in mind. Lynette wanted a home with an open floorplan after years in the two-story home where we had raised our kids. I wanted a place to welcome family and friends. I knew if her goal was met, mine would be, too. Having seen many of his other projects, Terry was the one and only builder that we called to make it happen.
Lynette had a vision of what she wanted, and that was all Terry & Rita needed to get the ball rolling. They drew from their vast experience and creativity to develop the plan for our home with us. At every step they listened to us to be sure we got exactly what we were looking for, but were not afraid to give us their opinion when we suggested something that we may have regretted implementing later. During construction, we were extremely impressed with the courtesy and timeliness that we saw from the Knutsen crew and all of the subcontractors involved in the project. It was obvious that they had worked together for many years, and the timing from beginning to end was almost exactly as we had laid it out. We absolutely love our home, and would highly recommend Knutsen Builders as a builder that ensures care and quality in their work.
